Absolutely. Payments in the online store are processed by Checkout Finland and Klarna Bank AB. We are committed to adhering to the Fair Play Rules of the Finnish Direct Marketing Association (SSML), the Rules of Electronic Commerce, and the laws governing consumer sales. For deliveries, we use Matkahuolto's secure services.

Your shopping cart is saved on our server, so you can browse our pages at your leisure and add products to the cart. When you are ready to order, click the Checkout button in the upper right corner of the page.

Ordering from our online store is a very simple process:

The factory outlet is in Sievi, which is open to our customers on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Products in stock are generally delivered within 1-3 business days from the order. If the order is placed by 1 PM and the ordered item is immediately available in stock, the order is usually shipped the same day. In this case, the order typically arrives as early as the next postal day. If the item is not in stock, we will indicate the estimated delivery time on the product page, and we prefer to overestimate rather than underestimate. Products are delivered in one shipment unless otherwise agreed.

For now, we only deliver products to Finland and Sweden.

We have a customer return agreement with Matkahuolto. If your product is unopened and in sellable condition, you can return the products by taking the package to Matkahuolto and stating that it is a customer return for Nordicmatt Finland Oy.

In return cases, include a note stating the reason for the return and the contact details of the person returning the item. If you are returning the goods to cancel the order, also include your bank account number for the refund. Returns are always free for the customer.

Please note that opened product packages/used products cannot be returned as they have no resale value. When returning an order, inform Matkahuolto of our return code, which is 9555856.

Our products come with a 14-day return policy. Due to the nature of the products, opened or partially used packages have no resale value. Therefore, the return policy only applies to unopened product packages and products that are in perfect saleable condition. The 14 days are counted from the day the customer received the product.

Custom-made Termomatto products cannot be returned, but the purchase can still be canceled as long as the mat has not yet been cut. A pre-cut Termomatto is made as a custom order, so the accuracy of the measurements is the customer's responsibility. The 14-day return policy for other products in the online store does not apply to these products (Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 16). The right of return only applies to defective products.

We process product exchanges quickly, often on the same day the return arrives. You can exchange one or all of the products you ordered, as long as the packages are unopened and in saleable condition.

Pack the items in a package durable enough for shipping.

The carpet is resistant to UV radiation and has passed the UV resistance standard, which measures colorfastness under various conditions. Product lightfastness: CFL (45°C) = 6-7, ISO 105-B02 standard

Synthetic fibers tolerate heavy wear well and generally withstand light water and foam washing. The backing treatment of rugs does not tolerate wrinkling, so we recommend flat washing and drying. Synthetic fiber rugs are usually treated during manufacturing to repel water and dirt and to be antistatic. You can apply such treatment yourself to the rug with a protective spray after washing with water.

Water wash at max 40 degrees Celsius. The rug is wetted, detergent diluted in water is applied to the rug, brushed by hand with a soft brush, and rinsed several times.

Before treating the carpet surface with a new substance, it is important to ensure that the substance is suitable for treating that particular surface. The new substance should first be tested on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet before applying it to the entire surface. This helps avoid major damage in case the substance reacts unexpectedly with the surface.

If the rugs are in good condition and mainly require cleaning and washing, we recommend using mild detergents such as a diluted pine soap solution for cleaning.

Generally, rugs are cleaned either by vacuuming, brushing, or washing with water at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius.

It is advisable to use a street broom or a root brush for this. They easily remove excess debris from the carpet. Vacuuming with a powerful vacuum cleaner is also an effective way to remove pet hair and pine needles.
